The Steven Gregory Band was formed in the mid part of 2006. Steven Gregory, who had performed solo and with the Wilmington Ohio-based band Cordray, had performed throughout the acoustic circuit in Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati as well as in the United Kingdom promoting his first release, 'Collections of Incidental Behavior,' as well as 'Complicated Simple Thing,' working exclusively with bassist/engineer/producer Jeff Conner. After finishing 'Complicated Simple Thing,' incorporating the talents of Steven Gregory on vocals and guitar, Jeff Conner on bass, piano and backup vocals, as well as recording with lead guitarist Casey Lamb (whom Steven had performed with several times prior and met at Peach's Grill in Yellow Springs), the three decided to pursue forming a band. Utilizing the talents of Kevin Murray, and thus using the name the Steven Gregory Band, the four have been on tour to promote their music and collective songs.
